Preparation
- Wash the blackberries, drain and then roughly crush them.
- Place blackberries in a suitable container with the rock candy.
- Cut open the vanilla bean, spread it out and add it.
- Pour the liquor over it and close the jar.
- Store the liqueur in a cool, dark place and shake occasionally.
- After six to eight weeks, the liqueur is ready to strain (preferably through a close-meshed sieve or filter).
- Pour the liqueur into a bottle.
