Product: Bananenlikör (grün), Pisang Ambon
Speichern
In 1948, a returning Dutch soldier brought the recipe of a green Indonesian specialty to Europe. He refined the recipe a bit and had it distributed by the distillery Levert & Co. The name "Pisang Ambon" was chosen. Pisang Ambon translates as a small green banana species that grows on the Ambon Islands. However, the liqueur has nothing in common with this banana species. Instead, the basis for the production of Pisang Ambon are exotic fruits, herbs and spices. Furthermore, Pisang Ambon is particularly suitable for long drinks, especially in combination with orange juice.
