Ingredient: Jabuticaba

Jabuticaba, also known as tree trunk cherry or Brazilian grape tree, is an exotic fruit from South America that is known for its unique taste and way of growing. The actual jabuticaba fruit is a dark purple to almost black berry with a diameter of about 3-4 cm. It has a thin skin and a juicy, white flesh with a sweet and sour taste reminiscent of grapes. There are one to four seeds in the middle of the fruit.
