Product: Herbal Liqueur, Chartreuse Verte (green)
Speichern
Chartreuse is a liqueur made by the Carthusian monks in France. It is a herbal liqueur made from a secret formula of 130 different herbs, flowers and roots. The exact composition of the herbs is a closely guarded secret known only to a few people.
Chartreuse comes in two different varieties: Chartreuse Verte (green Chartreuse) and Chartreuse Jaune (yellow Chartreuse). Green Chartreuse has a milder and more flavorful taste, while yellow Chartreuse is sweeter and less herbaceous. Both varieties are often used in cocktails to add a special flavor profile and color. Chartreuse can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
